Scotty's is the best! In mountain communities, there are a lot of lazy contractors, but not Scotty's!! They're on time, professional and get the job done. I strongly recommend them for anything construction and plumbing related!

Scotty's Plumbing saved me over $3,000 dollars!!! I had another Plumber come and give me a quote to replace my Tankless Water Heater. They quoted $6,500... Great service! I needed a leaking toilet fixed and my old heater needed repair. They fixed the toilet immediately and diagnosed the issue with heater shortly after. Unfortunately the fan in the heater wasn't available anymore but Scotty's purchased and installed a new unit within a couple days in perfect time for my winter vacation. My husband and I had a leaky valve/pipe that needed patching - despite being busy and booked with appointments, Scotty went out of his way to take a look at our pipes. He was very thorough and helpful. He told us exactly what we need to get and what to do to fix it up (it turns out we only need to buy a galvanized cap to prevent it from leaking). He even gave us something to insulate our pipe to prevent the ice from damaging it. We will definitely call Scotty’s Plumbing again for all our plumbing needs! He was very helpful and kind - you can tell he really cares about his customers. I hired Scott's Plumbing & Heating to replace all of the air ducts in my townhome. Joe did an outstanding job! He is hardworking, and dedicated. He is conscientious, and doesn't mess around. A couple weeks later Joe returned to install a new thermostat. He arrived on time, and was ready to go. I had a question regarding the thermostat, and he returned right away to help me. I also asked him to look at my water heater, and perhaps flush it out as it has never been done. Instead of performing this service to make an extra buck, he recommended that it be left alone since it is over 25 years old, and flushing it out could cause more problems. Besides, I wasn't having any problems with it. I definitely will hire Scotty's Plumbing and Heating for my next issue. They are trustworthy!

Excellent service, reasonable prices, entire team is very knowledgeable!! I first used Scotty's Plumbing to move gas and water lines for a kitchen remodel in my cabin. They were very prompt in getting to us for an estimate and the work was completed on-time and on budget (lower than other quotes too!). After they installed the plumbing I put a drywall screw through the excellent work he did so I had to call him late on a Sunday night, they were there the next day and fixed my mistake for half the cost I expected. Since then they have done work in our bathroom and also an emergency call for our furnace, excellent service everytime. At this point I wouldn't waste my time getting quotes for other plumbers that may or may not show up, Scotty's is the only plumbing service I would use or recommend in Big Bear!!

Upon discovering that mice had eaten the power cord to my cabin wall heater, I called the company that installed the heater in 2008. First of all, I had to negotiate their woefully inefficient communications system. Once I got the ear of a human being, I was told that they would come out, diagnose the system and give me an estimate! I told them that I didn't have a system, I had a "WALL HEATER" and all it needs is a new power cord. Still being given the run around I decided to Call Scotty's. The Owner returned my call on his cell phone. He understood immediately that all I wanted and needed was someone to install a new power cord! Since I am getting older, I couldn't really install it myself (Can't see what I am doing and it's really painful to be lying on the floor trying to complete such a task!) Joe came out, I handed him the power cord that Scotty recommended I buy at Butcher's Block Hardware Store and the job was completed in a few minutes, including a brief test of the heater and fan! Sure I had to pay a reasonable service/response charge, but it was better than the couple of hundred bucks I was quoted by the other folks! Thanks Scotty's.

I can't brag enough about Scotty and scotty's plumbing.scotty is just a wonderful man and he has a great sense of humor and hes also a fantastic plumber.he's very fair and worth every penny of the work he performs.he has replaced both my toilets up here for $1250 Well bear city plumbing and big bear air employment both quoted me at three thousand dollars for the exact same job.scotty stands by his work and when I didn't like one of my toilets he came over and gave me a new one.it was no problem.whenever I need scotty he shows Up.he just finished fixing my friend heads hitting system that bear Valley heating and plumbing installed and then refuse to stand by their work.so Scotty came in fixed the dog do work that they did and replace the motor in the heating system That should have been under warranty with this other company.please be worn that bear valley heating employment and bear valley heating and air are two companies that work hand in hand Up here to grossly overcharge customers,and to leave them stranded in the Winter with no heat when the work they do fails completely.they told my friend Ted that the 1st day they had free to give him 5 minutes of their time which January 20th he called them 2 days ago.if they had their way my friend would be found dead frozen to death at HIS house.i went and spent the evening with him When is house had no heat and it got down to twenty seven degrees. And if I had an insisted he come to my house for refuge he would have insisted on staying in this unheated house and he literally could have died.thank you scotty.thank you for always showing up and doing such a fantastic job and always having such a great smile on your face and making a sloth and thank you for everything you do because we love you so!!!! I'd have to say i've been appear for five years now in scotty is the only reply reliable plummer and guy who can do heating on the whole mountain.he's the only one that won't rob you blind.he's the only one who will not try to grossly overcharge you and he's the only one that will stand by his work. I just like to add that the other companies up here doing plumbing and heating or not only encompetent but they're also run by a bunch of racists who think that it's good business practice to rob, embezzle and over charge the client. I wonder what businessman they learned that disgusting practice from? I think it's the same business man that the fraud did a bunch of American students out of 67 million dollars worth of education.shame on these companies up here that prey on poor people and senior citizens.you should be ashamed of yourselves and you guys should be put on a business.and people like Scotty who Run scotty's potty they should Be given in award for The Way they Take Care of the community up Here Period scotty is the best plumber and the best heat guy and he's just an all around wonderful human being.
